Difference between truth, fact, opinion and logic.

When you google this, this is what pops up. "Truth is an instance of quoting one or many of the facts while describing or discussing the subject. The difference between truth and fact is that fact is something that cannot be combated with reasoning, for it is logic itself. But truth is something which depends on a person's perspective and experience."

So my question is that one time A flat earther took a photo of the ISS with his own telescope camera. So, a fact was produced. However the flat earther combatted the fact with reasoning. The reasoning being that the photo of the ISS he took was really just Satan in the form of the ISS to fool him.

So, is this an example of a fact being combated with reasoning? Or am I missing something here as its claimed that facts cant be combated with reasoning?

What you are missing is that you are dealing with irrational people. They don't follow the rules the rest of us do, so reason simply does not matter to them.

"Truth" is a topic in which entire books have been written, so I don't think a single definition from Google can be taken too seriously. See the bigger picture... this person thinks Satan is disguising himself as the ISS to fool him. That level of "skepticism" is indicative of psychopathy.
