Marjorie Taylor Greene response after attending rally with white nationalists?

Historical archive only. New interaction is disabled.

Original Question

"We're not going to be deterred by journalists and Washington insiders who fear the name of Our Lord, and relentlessly attack those of us who proclaim His name. We know that Christ is our only judge,"

Keep in mind that's not all she said I just want to show the one quote she made after being asked about attending the rally. She defended herself and then said this line. Not the whole conversation.

Comments on Question

Argument ad populum? Using a popular belief such as Christianity and claiming that journalists and insiders are attacking them because they are attacking her (a Christian) for going to an event that has endorsed and is partially based on Christianity but has darker philosophies and ideologies as well. Because Christianity is a dominant religion in this country she is using it as a pawn to imply that you are attacking Christianity when attacking her for going to the event. Also can't this be an appeal to authority? She is saying that only christ should judge her and nobody else. We arent higher powers therefore we can't judge her for this?

You don't find any fallacy in this? I can send you the rest of the link if you want.

Thank you for your input, Dr. Bennett.

These are just people saying stuff and not relevant to this site. Fallacies are errors in reasoning related to arguments being made.
