This book is a crash course, meant to catapult you into a world where you start to see things how they really are, not how you think they are. The focus of this book is on logical fallacies, which loosely defined, are simply errors in reasoning. What I'm seeing is a false dilemma . They are presenting only two possibilities, either you don't sell your house, or they become homeless. In most cases like this, the tenants would have the option of moving to another rental, or if you sell to an investor, continuing to rent through the new owner. Granted, it is possible that there's some sort of financial or logistical barrier to them moving to a new place, such as being unable to afford another security deposit, or other rentals out there are more expensive. But, that's something they'd need to articulate. |
