Using a positive as a suspicious negative.

What kind of fallacy is it when someone uses a positive as a suspicious negative? As in the case of "Democrats want Pelosi as Majority leader. But so does Trump. So Democrats and Trump are really secretly working together."

I'm not sure, but if I am understanding this right, it may be a guilt by association fallacy. Since Democrats want something, and Trump (the bad guy) wants that same thing, Democrats are bad and conspiring with Trump for some bad eventual goal.

There's no fallacy here, only the meager underpinnings of a conspiracy theory.
