Many of our ideas about the world are based more on feelings than facts, sensibilities than science, and rage than reality. Premises 1 & 2 are functionally the same, so you can remove one and still have the fallacy of composition . Remember that, even if the conclusion is true, the reasoning can still be fallacious. This is a prime example. |
