Voting

I am going to present two separate arguments here. The first one is:

"If you voted for Donald Trump then you are an active white supremacist."

A completely different one here is:

"If you are black and voted for trump, then you are a sellout."

These are not fallacious arguments. In fact, they're not even arguments. Just emotionally-charged statements.

A person who routinely says things like this might be displaying black-and-white thinking, a cognitive bias.

This is merely an unsupported opinion, of the "armchair politician" variety.

It is not even an argument, so there is nothing fallacious about it.

It would be a fallacy to say that this was fallacious :)

I wonder if there's name for the fallacy of mistaking an opinion for a fallacy?

That would just be a lack of domain-specific knowledge (fallacies) rather than an error in reasoning.

I would say prove it. It is just an opinion that is usually based on biases.
