Original Question
Recently I had someone bring me in on a conversation with one topic but then switched topics, not because I "won" the original argument but because it was their plan all along just to get me to sit down and have a conversation. I doesn't seem like "Hypnotic Bait and Switch" or even a "Red Herring" which seems like a technique people use to divert an argument because they feel they are "losing."
To sum up, what is the fallacy when someone plans to purposefully entice you into a conversation about one thing your interested in but then switches the subject to something you would not want to talk about.

1I wouldn't call this a fallacy (because there is no error in reasoning on the part of either party). This is either a deliberate attempt to mislead someone or simply the failure to remain on topic.
