Original Question
If listening to rock music doesn't cause a behavioral influence or response, then why do some CDs have a parental advisory sticker on them? Since sex, drugs, and rebellion are so overtly used in rock music, what are rock musicians really trying to promote?Advertising dollars are spent every year for things like the super bowl so advertising must influence consumers to some degree, why else would millions of dollars be spent on advertising?

1If listening to rock music doesn't cause a behavioral influence or response...
But it does... sort of. When we talk about human behavior we avoid the word "causes" and use the more accurate term "influences." Much of what the lay person refers to as causation, especially in psychology, is really correlation , which is often the best we can do. I'm not so sure about "rock music," but certainly some kinds of music with suggestive lyrics have shown to be correlated with behavior, whether it be violence, sex, or some other kind of behavioral change. Because we don't know the exact causality, often these correlations are enough justification to warrant a warning label, given the relatively low cost of such a label.
I guess this was more of a psychological question—I don't see any real fallacy here.
