People don't regularly object to wearing pants, shirts and other related items because they are considered normal elements of clothing, necessary to maintain some semblance of decency. Masks were specifically mandated during a viral pandemic where their benefits are not clear. Thus, person 2 makes a Faulty Comparison.

They tell me a have to wear shoes and I don’t so why would I wear a mask? I’m not sick, my immune system is in good shape, I’m not around sick people, this mentally that I should change my behavior for safety is a bunch of bs.

Except when you go out, you may face sick people who are asymptomatic! So here, we have Ignoratio elenchi because this person has woefully missed the point of wearing a mask in the first place.
