Original Question

I know that a number of fallacies are applicable here. Which would you argue is most applicable?

Monet avoided black.

Monet's work was described as having a sense of energy and life.

Avoiding black will cause work to be described as having a sense of energy and life.

I would define this as a questionable cause (cum hoc ergo propter hoc- with this, therefore because of this).

Also, since with this logical fallacy we come to the position related to MONET, and we conclude that this is true in general, this argument contains in itself hasty generalization .

Black doesn't have to be colored in; it is already arranged all around us.
