Original Question
This new the technique is being used to dismiss factual news and data.
Logical form:
Person 1: "Here is the data collected by X researchers that suggest Y result.
Person 2: "Thats fake news."
Therefore, person 2 concludes that the claims made by person 1 are false based off no real reason other than dismissing it as fake news.

1This is clearly a real problem these days, but it is not really a fallacy. There is no argument being made; it is, as you point out, simply a dismissal of claims or even facts without offering a reason. Just substitute "bullshit" for "fake news," and we can see this phenomenon has been around for a long time.
The main fallacy behind the "Fake News," claim is a Genetic Fallacy, where certain networks are "very bad," therefore, facts from them are "Fake News."
The error in reasoning is more of cognitive bias (the confirmation bias) where we reject/dismiss information we don't like and tend to accept information we do like.
