Obama: Michelle, a trans woman, should be allowed in a public ladies toilet. Disallowing her to do so violates her right. We must respect her choice. No hate my bruddah!
Trump: No transwoman should be allowed in a public ladies toilet because it is dangerous. A man, with an evil intent, can just claim to be a transwoman so he can enter a women’s comfort room, then peep on real women or even rape a woman.

Obama stated an opinion and made a legal claim that may or may not be true.
Trump stated an opinion with a hypothetical.
