Original Question

Ignorant person im dealing with, very stupid, lives in there moms basement, and eats hot pockets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

I explain something using logical thinking and everything, and when I give analogy of there logic and they refuse to admit there wrong

For example

Chuck: Bears aren't dangerous because there fluffy

Me: Bears are fluffy it's a fact, but that's like saying cigarettes aren't dangerous because they have a filter

Chuck: I never said cigarettes weren't dangerous, I said Bears weren't dangerous Durhurhurhuhu! ( bites hot pocket while in mom's basement)

Me: (explains analogy) and gets pissed off

Chuck: (walks away to download tinder)

What advice can I have if I argue with stupid people or just never argue with them and let them figure it out on there own

It's impossible to argue with this guy lmao, no point in arguing

You can't argue and win. That is what cognitive dissonance and backfire are all about. Instead, use the Peter Boghassian method. Bo is on the right track.

Walk Chuck through what he claimed like he were a child.

"If I am understanding you correctly, Chuck, you are suggesting that 'fluffiness' is a quality that makes something not dangerous? Is that correct?"

"Are fluffy bears dangerous to their prey? How come the fluffiness does not protect the other mammals they eat?"

If this line of inquiry gets you nowhere, consider that you are either dealing with a person with a mental disability or you are being trolled.
