Original Question
I would like help identifying what the main logical fallacy is in the following quote. I'm seeing this kind of crazy incompatible tie-in and comparisons a lot lately in political talks (all parties).
I think there's at least Faulty Comparison, but that doesn't really explain the manipulation going on.
Thanks for any help.
The quote is from a Twitter post from a woman named Nikki Haley:
It is amazing that a liberal socialist won in Iowa and New Hampshire. The idea that we would give up the freedoms our veterans fought and died for is unthinkable."

2We can start with a general Non Sequitur , as the "conclusion" does not follow from the opening statement or premise. There is certainly a Slippery Slope fallacy here, implying that these wins will ultimately lead to us "giving up our freedoms."
It's a bit like a loaded question, though it obviously isn't a question. An example of loaded question is "Have you stopped beating your wife?" which puts a presumption on you which a direct yes or no doesn't address.
Or "Will you be paying by cash or card" when you're just browsing is a trick sales people use to coerce you into buying.
But as I say it's not a question, maybe a loaded statement or loaded language?
Or maybe it's an example of begging the question, where an argument's premises assume the truth of the conclusion, instead of supporting it.
Either way it's a rhetorical technique and is manipulative and more than a little dishonest.
