Original Question

If I was to say that a 5 pointed star was a true and real star in a debate to try and prove a point and I was obviously wrong, what would such a fallacy be called?

You are referring to a claim, so there is no fallacy given the information you shared. The fallacy can be found in the reasoning process - to justify the claim.

You might want to have a look at no true scotsman as well to see if the reasoning used is similar.
